ACCEPT To Support AC/DC In Hannover

Reunited German heavy metal band ACCEPT will play a one-hour-long set as the support act for AC/DC on May 25 in Hannover, Germany. According to a press release, "Everybody in ACCEPT is honored and excited to perform with one of the greatest legends in rock and share the stage with their all time heroes."

ACCEPT will play the only cover song it has ever recorded — "I'm A Rebel", which originally appeared on ACCEPT's second album. "I'm A Rebel" was written for AC/DC by Alex Young (older brother of Malcolm and Angus Young),but it was never recorded by the Australian hard rock legends.

"Teutonic Terror", the new video from ACCEPT, will make its online debut on MySpace today (Wednesday, May 5) at 12:00 noon EST / 9:00 a.m. PST. The clip was shot in March with director Dave Blass of Grid41.com and it promises to be the "most metal" ACCEPT video ever.

"The Abyss", a brand new song from ACCEPT, can be streamed below. Both "The Abyss" and "Teutonic Terror"come off the band's new studio album, "Blood Of Nations", which is scheduled for release in North America on September 14 via Nuclear Blast Records. The band's 15th LP was recorded at Backstage Studio in Derbyshire, England with acclaimed British producer and SABBAT guitarist Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, EXODUS, ARCH ENEMY, NEVERMORE). The CD — which will mark the recording debut of the band's latest addition, vocalist Mark Tornillo (ex-TT QUICK) — will contain around 14 tracks, including "Shades Of Death", "Blood Of Nations" and "Pandemic".

The new lineup of ACCEPT will play its first-ever concert this Saturday, May 8 at the 750-capacity New York City's Gramercy Theatre. Following the New York City show, ACCEPT will head to Europe to perform special gigs in carefully handpicked venues in various European capitals.
